DJI’s Dock 4 is the first of its docks to swap packs automatically instead of charging the aircraft on the pad. The company quotes 25 seconds for the swap and 45 seconds from landing to the next takeoff.
The paired Matrice 5TD carries triple 50 MP cameras, thermal, lidar, and radar, with about 59 minutes on a pack. The hardware is not cleared for the US market under the current covered-list rules.
